Originally from Casper, WY, Dr. Katherine Held received her Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University, where she first fell in love with all that Arizona has to offer. She then went on to attain her DDS from Creighton University School of Dentistry, in Omaha, NE, where she met her husband, Dr. Jonathan Held.
A proud member of the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, and Northern Arizona Dental Society, Dr. Katie also enjoys giving back, through organizations such as Give Kids a Smile. Through continuing education, Dr. Held is committed to staying current with the very latest in technology in order to provide her patients with the greatest care available.
Dr. Katie Held has had the fortunate opportunity to practice dentistry within successful offices in both Wyoming and South Dakota; but she could not be more excited to have made it full circle back to the lovely state of Arizona. In May of 2018, Dr. Katie and Dr. Jon were married in Sedona. They are thrilled to be living here now, and are enthusiastic to become an active part of the community. Outside of dentistry, they enjoy live concerts, traveling, cooking, hiking and caring for their Siamese cat and rescue dog.
Open communication between her and her patients, Dr. Katie believes, is key to her job. She has a passion for what she does and is dedicated to providing thorough, gentle care, treating each and every patient as if they were a member of her own family.

Dr. Jonathan Held DDS, Diplomate- American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine
Dr. Jonathan Held, also known as Dr. Jon, comes to us with experience and philosophy rooted in providing his patients with cutting edge, conservative Sleep Apnea Treatments, Dental treatment, cosmetic and implant dentistry.
As a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Dr. Held received implant training through the rigorous Maxi Course Implant Continuum and remains on top of the latest educational, technological, and surgical advances in implant dentistry.
Dr. Jonathan Held is the only Diplomate in the American Board of Dental Sleep in Northern Arizona. He has extensive training in treating sleep apnea with oral appliances and strives to work closely with your medical team. He is an active member in the Academy of Sleep Medicine to stay up to date with current medical research on sleep apnea and its link to overall health. Dr. Jonathan Held is passionate about treating sleep apnea and snoring and strives to work with patients and their physicians to improve patient’s lives.
Outside the office Dr. Held enjoys spending time outdoors and within the Verde Valley area. Dr. Held lives by and follows Mark Twain's quote that says, "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow mindedness." As such, he often finds himself in unique places and with friends from every culture and background. Dr. Jon and Dr. Katie were married in Sedona in May of 2018.
