Cerec Same Day Crowns
Single visit crowns afford you to the opportunity to obtain a high-quality, esthetic restoration in a single appointment at our Sedona, AZ dental office. By eliminating the need for multiple dental visits, we are able to provide exceptional restorations in a fraction of the time.
Unlike most dental offices, we eliminate the need for multiple visits in order to successfully restore the appearance and function of your teeth. CEREC (chairside economic restoration of esthetic ceramics) uses the latest CAD/CAM technology to provide you with the best results in a timely fashion.
Using 3-D scanning technology, we take a digital impression of your teeth, eliminating the need for gooey, easily distorted impressions. Our patients truly appreciate this convenience and our doctors appreciate the accuracy.
Once we scan your tooth, we send it to our CEREC software where it will be processed and transmitted to our milling chamber where your restoration will be created from a single piece of ceramic or porcelain.
After milling, we glaze and color the restoration to match your natural teeth. The result is an extremely esthetic replacement tooth that is tough and long lasting.
The average treatment time from start to finish lasts about two hours, and you will walk out the door with your permanent dental crown. By eliminating the middle man, a third-party dental lab, we achieve better results and affordability on your behalf.

Intraoral cameras
An intraoral camera is an instrument that is designed specifically for use in dentistry. The small handheld camera is about the size of a pen and allows us to take highly detailed images of your teeth. These enlarged images let us detect details that are simply too small to see during a visual exam. At Sedona Dental Design of Sedona, we understand the importance of correctly diagnosing and treating any oral issues that you may have, and this is one of the best tools available to help us achieve that.
We will show these images on a monitor so you can see what we see. Using these images, we can show you the reason you need treatment and talk to you about your options. Intraoral cameras provides us with the information we need to make your diagnosis easier and more accurate. Our dentist will then be able to give you the best advice for your unique needs. Give us a call if you have any questions or concerns about this technology!
